Spice Up Your Fall Mornings with this Healthy Pumpkin Frappuccino Recipe - Coffee Optional

Updated: Jan 18

Are you a pumpkin spice errrthang kinda person? The kind who used to scent their home with everything spicy pumpkin - all the candles and plug-ins possible...(if this is still you, let's talk about how that plays a part in making you sick + ache and how to use something waaaay better for you and dreamier smelling, too)...

Are you the kind that jumps for joy at the first hint of cooler weather and stalks the windows of their local coffee shop (even when they're closed) for the first signs of your favorite flavor coming in stock?

Or maybe you just kind of enjoy the flavors of fall and can take it or leave it, generally speaking?

Well, let's chat about what may be in that Pumpkin Spice Latte drink you're ordering at the counter:

350 calories, 14 grams of protein, 50 GRAMS OF SUGAR (oh dear me), 18% of your daily recommended cholesterol, and a whopping 40% of your daily recommended saturated fat. And that's only in the medium size.

And are there any health benefits to drinking it? Nope; the "treat" side of the drink far outweighs any possible benefits. But there's something better about to fall (wink wink) into your lap...

Instead, give this Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino a try. Will it taste the exact same? Of course not, because it's not filled with a bunch of junk! We're making healthier choices everywhere we can here, and this is just a great place to make a simple change this season.

Grab the recipe below and check out the benefits...

Ingredients

Recipe

Combine liquid ingredients in a blender. Add ice and blend until you reach your desired consistency. For added health benefits, add one drop of your fave Young Living Vitality essential oils, like Clove, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, or Ginger...or reuse one of your old essential oil bottles and combine 10 drops of each to use one drop from the mix, as needed.

Adding whipped cream and caramel drizzle is also an option, but be aware that it will totally up the calorie, fat, and sugar content. Another modification is to freeze unsweetened vanilla coconut or almond milk to use instead of regular ice cubes.

Benefits of Making the Switch

Here's the (approximate) nutritional content based just on the protein powder + pumpkin puree:

81 calories, .8 grams of fat, 5.6 grams of carbohydrates, 2.8 grams of sugar, 10.5 grams of protein (BAM!), as well as Vitamins A (over 140% of your daily value), C, B6, and B12, plus Calcium, Iron, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Biotin, Zinc...aaaaand beneficial enzymes like Alpha and Beta amylase, Protease, Lipase, Cellulase, Lactase, L. acidophilus, Papain, and Bromelain. Whooo hooooo!

I can get you the hookup to getting your Pure Protein Complete at a discount! Grab your free guide below and we'll chat more about what you're looking to do for your health.

Of course there is absolutely nothing wrong if you choose to treat yourself to the drive-through version near you...we just encourage you to do it in moderation.
